Class A: Night Cityscapes in Watercolor

Harbour painting (Beginners/Intermediate)

Class B: Night Cityscapes in Watercolor

Street scene (Beginners/Intermediate)

Date: September 19, 2026, 2:30-6:00pm.

Learn to paint night cityscapes in watercolor with Rainbow in this workshop...

• Step by step process and walk through together of a night cityscape painting (Class A & B)
• Learn how to use color to create mood and atmosphere in painting  (Class A & B)
• Understand the role of light and value in creating paintings that glow  (Class A & B)
• Use of perspective in cityscapes to create accurate spatial depth  (Class A & B)
• All materials included, just bring yourself!
• By the end of the workshop you will take home a finished watercolor painting.

What is the difference between Class A and B?

Rainbow will teach a different painting in each class. Both classes include a step by step walk through of a night cityscape painting. You will bring home a completed (and different) painting when you finish Class A and/or Class B. 

Class A is harbour painting, Class B is street scene. Both classes are open to beginner/intermediate painters. 

Can I take both Class A and B together?

Absolutely. We will be going through different paintings in each class, the specific techniques used will vary between them since there will be differences in the composition and colors for each painting. You are welcome to take the classes individually or together.

Do I need to bring anything?

All materials included, just bring yourself! You are of course welcome to bring your own painting tools if you have them, but this is not required.

What language is the workshop?

Cantonese, supplemented with English (depending on students enrolled, Rainbow will explain in both.)
