I will be at the Affordable Art Fair in Hong Kong this May, here is a sneak peek into some of the paintings I've been working on in preparation for the show.

Event details: Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong, from May 18 to 21st, 2023.  My work will be at Rainze Gallery Booth G11, Hall 1E, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai.

 It has been quite a few busy months, but I have enjoyed the daily and regular rhythms of painting and creating. These are usually the times when I feel the most in the flow with my craft.

But sometimes working as an artist is more than just painting and creating. The younger version of me would be surprised at how much energy goes into preparing for an art show. You spend time planning on how to best present your work to others, the paintings' placements, titles, and descriptions. You learn to be handy with the tools. How to frame your own work. How to protect them with layers and layers of bubble wrap before the show...!

I am grateful that I get to create and share my paintings with others. I hope you will get a chance to stop by this year's art fair if you are in Hong Kong.
